I am investigating the role of altered asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) metabolism and concentrations on vascular function and reproductive status. ADMA is an endogenous inhibitor of nitric oxide synthase and risk factor for cardiovascular disease as well as several complications of pregnancy including preeclampsia. |
